lSc54Ow7wNwEdBXvYkj5mkymSRZxPpkdvJ5Li7QCwBoNo Todd Clever and no Yoshio Kimishima was not problem for OMBAC as they returned to .500 on the season with a 50-29 win over Olympic Club at Treasure Island.

Zach Pangelinan got things started for OMBAC with a mazy run for a try less than ten minutes into the match. Olympic Club would respond with a try of their own through Josh Tucker a few minutes later to even things up at 7-7. John Gallo had put in an amazing run, evading multiple OMBAC defenders, to set up the try.

OMBAC would then take over the first half with four straight tries to run out to a 31-7 lead at the break. Ben Leatigaga had the first try followed by tries from Will Holder, Eoin Joyce, and a second try from Pangelinan.

The second half was a much more even affair as Olympic Club were finally able to capitalize on positive play. OMBAC struck first 16 minutes into the second half when Paul Derham scored. Olympic Club then responded with a try from Michael Haley before Holder added his second for OMBAC.

With two minutes to play OMBAC led 43-14. Olympic Club were able to cut into that lead when Dustin Muhn and Haley scored sandwiched around another try from Holder. Muhn then capped off the scoring with a late try for Olympic Club.

The loss officially puts Olympic Club out of the playoff picture while OMBAC are back in with the win. They are level with Belmont Shore on points with 22 and just two ahead of Denver but have played one more match than both those sides.
