With only one weekend to go before the start of the 2016 season most of the seven clubs are finishing their pre-season schedules with a full slate of matches this weekend.
Up in Northern California Olympic Club have confirmed a match against college powerhouse Central Washington. The Wildcats, led by Tony Pacheco, have been one of the top college sides over the last few years and will be a strong test for Olympic Club. San Francisco Golden Gates rests up this week having already faced St. Mary’s earlier in the month.
In Southern California OMBAC and Santa Monica will be using their DI sides to help warm-up for the season. OMBAC take on Tempe in a non-league match while the DI team will play Downtown. The Santa Monica Dolphins will play Los Angeles while Belmont Shore are resting.
The Glendale Raptors arguably have the most challenge pre-season match ahead as they take on the Seattle Saracens on the road. The Raptors and the Saracens have had claims to be the best team in the country over the last year and this may help settle some of that debate. The Denver Barbarians are resting.
